A few helpful answers

Before you dive in.

Here's what's available today, and what we're working on next.

What can I use on ResumeOtter today?

You can browse our published resume examples and writing advice. Each role page brings together examples for different kinds of experience, plus tips to help you write your own resume.

Are the people in the examples real?

The resumes are fictional examples made for learning. Use them to understand the structure and level of detail, then replace the names, experience, skills, and achievements with your own facts.

Can I build or tailor my resume here yet?

Not yet. We're working on a resume builder with 10 ATS-friendly templates and a separate tool that helps you tailor your resume to a pasted job description. Both are coming soon.

What does ATS-friendly mean?

Our template designs use a single column, clear section headings, and readable text. They're designed to keep your information easy to find. No template can guarantee an interview or work perfectly with every applicant tracking system.

Your next draft starts here.
